Second Stage Round 4: Litomerice - Ostrava 54-63

There was a small surprise when eighteenth ranked Ostrava (4-5) beat on the road 15th ranked Litomerice (4-3) 63-54 on Friday. The winners were led by guard Matyas Vitek (190-2007) who scored that evening 18 points and power forward Ondrej Klement (200-2006) supported him with 6 points and 12 rebounds. Even 20 points and 4 assists by point guard Radovan Mrazek (187-2004) did not help to save the game for Litomerice. Jan Madera (196-1999) added 10 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Ostrava moved-up to sixteenth place, which they share with Olomouc Bbal. Loser Litomerice keeps the fifteenth position with three games lost. Ostrava will meet bottom-ranked Chomutov (#19) on the road in the next round. Litomerice will play against Pardubice (#18) and hope to secure a win.
